Our Story

My name is Nico. I grew up in the French countryside near Toulouse, close to the land, watching my father and grandfather feed our family from large and thriving vegetable gardens.

I had a romantic notion of doing the same, when I moved with my family to the Surf Coast, but this has proven more than a little challenging.

Poor soil, hot sun and thirsty gum trees made progress slow and output small and after a couple of years of hard work I looked for an easier way.

With the construction of a wicking bed we finally have the ideal environment to grow what we need with minimum effort and maximum output!
